What is the hero meaning?but he always tumbled eventually. When I was a kid, my dad worked graveyards, so if we were home during the day he needed to sleep but also had his 4 daughters while mom was at work. We wanted him to play with us so the game was “who is strong enough to push/pull dad off the couch.” It makes me smile to think that even though he was so tired he still wanted to play with us, even if it was an “I’m super tired” game. I think this is an important moment and is as meaningful for your son as it is for you. I remember the first time my dad told me I was better at something than him. How you handle it well set up how he handles being humble and understanding different levels of success. I swam in college and I still remember the day my dad said I was a faster swimmer than him. When he beats you, he’s not going to see you as diminished in any way. He’s going to see himself as boosted up to your level. He’ll feel great, you’ll feel great and you will always be the greatest to him because you’re his dad.
