I can walk to 3 different free outdoor rinks in the winter but there is no city money for hoops. People can remove the rims. The only ones I’ve ever seen taken down (I live in west end downtown Toronto) were the nets at Schools where they were not only easier to remove, but also nice rims. It also helps if the court is not visible to the street so it doesn’t look bait as fuck.
