There are a few very central characters in the Blacklist that we don’t see in too many scenes but are nevertheless very important–Katarina, Dom, and Naomi. Dom is only in 3 episodes A woman cannot survive on wine alone she also needs dogs shirt, Naomi is in 4, and Katarina is only seen in memories and hallucinations. So we only get glimpses into their characters, especially Naomi. Which is odd if you think about it, because she shouldn’t know anything about an FBI agent named Elizabeth Keen. Why would she care at all about the child of a Russian spy her husband was sleeping with? Naomi asks him how much Liz knows and how he pulled off working together. When Liz sneaks in to see Naomi, the first thing she says is “Does Raymond know you’re here?” If you really listen to their conversation, it’s odd too. It’s like Naomi is trying to figure out how much Liz knows. I really think it was a misdirect to change the conversation away from their connection.
