See, it’s at times like this when Make America, not a bunch of whiny ass bitches again shirt. I wish ERB would allow their finished battles to be longer, considering how many good lines and references like this are written only to be cut. That’s better than the finished line about the streams, given that they really aren’t supposed to cross them and the one time they were allowed to was very much a unique situation. I simply copy and pasted the Trump v Clinton and Ketchum vs Darwin lyrics from the wiki because they were long due to Mat4yo making them.
What are the bitches meaning? What completely turned me away was the fact that, for a movie building up these fight scenes between massive mobile cities, apparently there’s a brief fight in the beginning then it becomes another generic fucking romance story for 90% of it. Like bruh no one wants romance plots anymore we want massive scale fight scenes. Oh wow, conveniently Broly is mostly a huge action spectacle fight scene that did really well for a limited release WhO WoUlD HaVe SeEn ThAt CoMiNg. Interestingly there’s a pretty decent anime out there about these huge moving cities. Prolly better than mortal engines, I’d bet. I saw it. It’s not that bad. It’s not very good either but it’s not actually, actively a bad film. Its failure shouldn’t be attributed to quality issues, as much worse films have done much better, but due to horrible marketing and a bad release slot. It probably would’ve done better give a February or March release slot when it wouldn’t have been competing with Aquaman, Into the Spider-Verse, etc.

Make America, not a bunch of whiny ass bitches again shirt, ladies, v-neck t-shirt, tank top, flowy tank. flowy tankladies teetank topv-neckI wanted to, and then the reviews came in and I decided to see Spiderman instead. I suspect Peter Jackson shot his wad with LOTR, and the rest of his run has just been chewing up his golden ticket. If it had been released 5 years ago, when the YA movie craze was at its height, it may have done much better. Rewatching LotR knowing his horror background, it seems too obvious in hindsight, especially a lot of the Black Rider stuff (like the famous bit with the Rider ‘sniffing’ above the tree where the hobbits are hiding in the roots, or the audience fakeout when the Riders stab the empty beds). It was, but it was also a very different sort of film. Maybe he should explore doing oral history documentaries because I’d watch something like that again. It sounds like the Imperial War Museum got a deal out of it as well, since Jackson’s team restored all of the footage they sent, used or not, for free.
