I like how they labeled HP Shout (FFVII) but didn’t label Ultima Weapon If You Are Going To Act Like A Turd Go Lay In The Pasture Cow Version shirt. even though Ultima Weapon is in damn near all the FF games after 6, and also in kingdom hearts as a key blade. I’m going to tell myself that I’m only pulling a handful of tickets for bonus units but I secretly want Tifa. Shh, don’t tell other me. I feel like I am the only one who prefers not to equip elemental weapons on their folks (in general). I only use elemental weapons for specific events/raids/bosses where the weaknesses are known.

Taking a friend Hyoh into Item World only to find out they have an elemental weapon that the boss is immune to is really annoying. Yeah, that’s very true but there are two ways to look at it I think. Basic content like farming the raid, I am more than ok just clearing with my own units. Then again, using a good elemental friend unit is very helpful on things like trials where the extra damage from imperiling a specific element would be helpful. This is why I always have someone with an appropriate imperil on hand. I’ve been using my Reberta and Fryevia in IW, both with Needles, and my Elfrieda is tagging along for the Ice imperil. One point in favor of the 2h element fewer guns… They do work very well in the arena to bypass the occasional evade cheeser. Is that enough of a reason hold onto them? Probably not, but I find it very handy to accompany my four pod-using physical damage dealers. I would not have been expecting that whether I’d just seen CoF or not, but I was especially not expecting that right now.
